  • chocolate chips (optional) – I love ( optional ) – I love lily ’ randomness chocolate chips for a low-sugar option, but Enjoy Life is a bang-up choice if you need dairy-free chips .

Tips for Microwaving Oatmeal

I ’ m a stovetop oat girl through and through, but I get that using the microwave is super convenient, some people don ’ t have time to cook stovetop oats and some people fair don ’ metric ton want to wash another pot in the AM. I get it – and that ’ s why I ’ megabyte sharing this microwavable oatmeal recipe .
For microwaving oatmeal, I highly recommend splitting up the time into increments and watching it like a hawk so that your oats don ’ thyroxine boil over and make a huge mess.   • 1/2

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 scoop cocoa protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter, for topping
  • 1 teaspoon chocolate chips, for topping ( optional )

Instructions 

  • Microwave: Add oats and almond milk into a bowl and bustle to combine. Microwave for 1 minute, then stimulate and continue to microwave in 30 irregular increments, stirring between each, until the oatmeal is the consistency you like. I normally cook for a total of 3 minutes, but you ‘ll know it ‘s done when most the liquid is absorbed and oats are hot .
