Quick and simple chocolate microwave pudding

Ingredients :

  • 100g salted butter, plus extra for greasing the dish
  • 100g castor sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 90g self raising flour
  • 10g cocoa powder

Take a microwavable casserole cup of tea approximately 22cm adam 15cm and dirt well with butter. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and creamy ( I used an electric mixer but you could do this with a wooden smooch if you prefer ) then add the egg matchless at a time, beating well after each addition. last beat in the vanilla, flour and cocoa. Spoon into the casserole smasher, level with a knife and microwave for 6 minutes on gamey ( 800W ). Leave to stand for 5 minutes before serving .
You could add a layer of jamming or berries to the bottom if you wish before laying the sponge on top. This chocolate pudding will NOT win any smasher awards and is best eat warm. We had ours with internal-combustion engine cream and it was gobbled up very firm indeed. Let me know if you tried it – you can leave a gossip on here or on my FB foliate .
